I’m Juanita, a storyteller at heart, a chatterbox and someone who finds the funny in everyday life. This often makes for a good laugh and an even better story. I write about the ordinary things in life that somehow turn into the unforgettable. You know, bus conversations with random strangers, mobility scooter trips that go hilariously wrong, or the unexpected kindness of people you have never met before. Giving me lots to talk about.

I live with chronic illness and increasing immobility, and while that brings its share of challenges, it’s also given me something I never expected: a deeper appreciation for the quiet moments, the ridiculous ones, patiently watching the world around me, the slower pace of life and learning how to be on my own.
